Privacy policy

2. The wayzo.tech website: we don’t use cookies. We count visits without identifying you: when a page loads, your browser sends us an event with the page address, language, referral source and device type. Besides the page load, the website counts which section you scrolled down to, which buttons and questions you tapped, how long the page was open and how far it was scrolled. All of this is tied to the visit ID, not to you. Instead of your IP address and browser, we keep an irreversible daily hash that can’t tell us who you are. The visit ID lives in the tab’s memory and disappears when you close the tab (reopening a closed tab may bring it back). When you tap “Open in Telegram”, we add the button and visit ID to the link. If you open Wayzo in Telegram from a button on the website and sign up, the visit ID is saved next to your account — that’s how we know the website brings in users. Nothing is saved for people who have already signed up.
3. The app: when you log in, Telegram passes us your ID, name and profile photo; your phone number only if you allow it yourself. Cards, votes and plans are stored so that the app works. To build a card from a link or a reel, we pass the link to external services: Google (maps and places), Anthropic and Google Gemini (describing the place and analyzing the video), Apify (fetching the reel). We don’t store or show the video itself — only frames from it. We don’t sell data and don’t show ads.
4. Where it’s kept: website and app data is on servers in Russia (Moscow), backups are in Yandex Cloud; bot messages pass through our server in the Netherlands. To delete your data, email [email].
